Wine & Cheese

In beautiful Burgundy, both players each run a traditional farm, on where both wine and cheese are produced. And even though they share vineyards, pastures, and labor as neighbors, they are still in direct competition with each other.

For two years, they must prove that they can master the demanding tasks of wine and cheese production. Procuring the ingredients requires considerable skill, as workers are sent out in pairs to the plots in spring and brought back in autumn. Good timing is also essential, not only to produce and mature the wine and cheese to the best of their quality, but also to sell them at the right moment. To win, however, they must above all pay attention to maintaining a balance between wine and cheese is crucial. At the end of the two years, each farm will only be rewarded for the product that yielded the fewest coins.

Wine & Cheese is the spiritual, but standalone successor to Beer & Bread.
