Picante

At the start of each round, choose one card from all those dealt to you and place it face up in front of you, visible to everyone. This is your Picante suit. You will lose as many points as the face value of all the cards of this suit you collect during the round... starting with the first card you chose!

Then the fun begins! The first player plays a card of their chosen suit. Any card of another suit is considered a trump and wins the trick. If several trumps are played, the highest one wins. Zero is never a trump. It's up to you to choose when to collect the cards that will earn you 1 point each and when to avoid your Picante suit, which will cost you many points!

Picante is a very subtle game, and it's easy to be tricked by the other players, who will certainly try to make you play as many cards of your Picante suit as possible.
